Once we select a date a $50 retainer ($75 for Red Truck sessions) is due to confirm your booking. The remainder is due the day before the shoot.

Before the Shoot: Please arrive camera-ready. Take a full photo of your outfit beforehand to ensure you like how it photographs. I INCLUDE minor edits (pimples, bruises, etc.), but noT full face/outfit cleanups unless previously discussed. Please lint roll your outfit and make sure you love your look! Deep editing requests will incur a small fee.
DURING THE SHOOT: I’m here to capture your family’s unique connections through a mix of posed and candid moments. If there are any dynamics, disabilities, or differences I should be aware of, please let me know in advance—I want everyone to feel comfortable and shine.
To ensure the best results: Sunglasses: Remove them a few minutes before the shoot to avoid marks. Avoid transition lenses, as they will photograph dark. Belongings: If possible, leave bags in the car to keep the focus on capturing moments. I can hold small items like keys and phones in my camera bag.
AFTER THE SHOOT: Your gallery will be delivered within a week. I select the final photos for editing (except for headshots/branding), but you’ll be able to choose your allotted images and purchase extras if desired. RAW files are not provided.
Galleries are available for a limited time, and you’ll receive an email before expiration. If you need gallery access after it expires, a $50 recovery fee applies—though I can’t guarantee long-term storage. I reserve the right to use images for my portfolio, website, PUBLICATIONS and social media. Let me know if you prefer otherwise.
IMPORTANT POLICIES: I shoot with natural light, so timeliness is key. If you cancel within three days or arrive more than 15 minutes late, your session fee is forfeited, and a rescheduling fee will apply.
If you need to reschedule and I can accommodate, the session must be booked within three months of the original date. Retainers will not be honored beyond that timeframe, and a new retainer will be required.
Red Truck session retainers are non-refundable if canceled less than a week before the shoot.
October and November are my busiest months, so flexibility is limited. If you have any concerns, please communicate them in advance, and I’ll do my best to work with you!
